The person behind Little Big Minds
Hello, I’m Steve
I created Little Big Minds because families deserve support that feels calm, human and free from judgement.

Lived experience shaped the way I support others
I’m a UK-based mental health support worker, author and the founder of Little Big Minds. My own experiences of anxiety, depression, family adversity and parenting a neurodivergent teenager have shown me how lonely it can feel when the usual answers do not fit.
I combine that lived understanding with training in children and young people’s mental health, autism, ADHD, bullying and cyberbullying. My approach is trauma-informed, practical and focused on emotional safety.
What matters here
- Looking beneath behaviour before judging it
- Listening when a child says they cannot cope
- Reducing shame for children and parents
- Offering realistic support rather than perfect solutions
Clear professional boundaries
Little Big Minds is an educational and supportive resource. I do not diagnose, provide therapy or operate a crisis service.
